PILOT'S CHECKLIST
We strongly recommend you to check the following
agenda for your own safety before starting!
- Check the tight fit of the 6 propeller screws, if necessary retighten them
- Check firm seating of spinner
- Check propeller for possible damage
- Throttle position in idle
- Check all batteries
- Check servo functions
- Ignition-Switch: OFF
- Check pressure (6-8 bar) system of retract / if applicable
- Check all interlinkage for play
- When starting the engine 1 person (minimum) must hold the model
- Check wheels for possible damange and easy running
- Check wing mounting for tight fit and for safe and proper interlocking
- Check canopy for tight fit and safe interlocking
Installation of Engine and Ignition
- Minimum distance 100mm between ignition and receiver battery
- Protect ignition cable only with spiral plastic band
- Never remove sparkplug connector with mechanical aids
- Remove sparkplug connector by twist/pull movement
- Sparking-connector has to have a firm and save sit on sparkplug hexagon.
- If this is not the case; radio interference
- Use only ignition on/off switches recommended by 3W
- Battery operating not below 4,8V
- Use high quality servo for throttle operation of carburettor
- tank set-up for engines with 1 tors:
- tank set-up for engines with 2 tors:
- Never fill tank through fuel line
- Use same inside diameter for tank ventilation and carburettor fuel line
