Suitable for 3D-flying of our XTRA/230 and VOTEC/230-FUNS or other Funflyers with a maximum take off weight of 9,0kg. Our small boxer engine is characterized by its soft running and low weight. The combo package of engine and muffler system has approximately the same weight like our 3W-55i combo. A good choice for Scale models and for towing Sailplanes. The crank shaft with its 3 ball bearings ensures  proper running characteristics. With a suitable 3W-muffler system a power out put is possible which can be compared with 70ccm engines of other manufactures.

The engine can be used for a wide range of models. Characteristics are its long life and reliability.

3W-CS-Serie ( Competition Series ) is characterized by better performance, throttle response and more power and torque. Selected parts are used for these engines. This results in a higher performance level. Transfer ports of the cylinder and crankcase are modified as well as the exhaust port.

The micro processor controlled igniton allows to easy start  the engine. The programmed timing curve is laid out for the engines and guarantees a good running characteristic in all RPM – ranges. An out put signal to monitor RPM is standard as well as a LED showing the status of the ignition. The voltage range of the standard ignition : 6V – 8,4V ( 2 cell LIPO battery ).
